Happy Halloween!

Keira's second Halloween went pretty well. We live in the same cul-de-sac that Doug grew up in and so we know almost all the neighbors. It makes it a bit more enjoyable when you can share a bit of small talk as you Trick or Treat.

Keira's costume this year was a monster. Very fitting if I do say so myself. Abby went dressed as Rapunzel.

My mom dressed as the Mad Hatter and my sisters were the Cheshire Cat & Medusa. We won't discuss my last minute throw together.

Grandma and her girls.

Just a couple inches too short to reach the bell but it didn't stop her.

Walking back from the last house.

And back at the house

Keira has her first piece of Halloween candy.

It tasted much better without the wrapper.

Weekend at Grandma's

Last weekend, Keira and Abby had another sleepover at my mom's. I cleaned the van and the house. I'm pretty sure I know who had more fun. My mom made pumpkin pancakes for supper.

The next day, they made chocolate covered Oreo's. I'm still laughing. Not just at Keira being Keira, but check out the Farrah Fawcett hair she's rocking.

While Abby colored in her brains & cat's ears....

Keira filled in some bones.

May have been a bit much....

No problem. Grandma's got more brushes.

Soon enough, they're ready to come out of the molds.

There's Oreos in there. Abby did a great job.

Keira did pretty good with her bones, too.

And now, to eat the brains.
