Water, Water, Everywhere!

Keira loves water. Like a fish. She spent plenty of time swimming while the weather was warm. Unfortunately, we live in New England. It's already cold. What the next best thing? You betcha, the tub. (Mainly because Doug would not be thrilled for me to be setting up a kiddie pool in the kitchen. Don't think I didn't consider it.) Anyway, I decided to bring in one of her sandbox toys (after a good shaking out & rinse with the hose). Toss in a few measuring cups & she had a ball.

Then she started "watering" herself. It was hilarious, especially when she poured it over her own head. Oh you bet I laughed. I just wished I'd been fast enough to catch her face the first time she did it.

Can you believe these lashes?

She's such a happy baby toddler. I suppose there are worse ways to be driven crazy.

She managed to bang her face on her book drawer the other day. Luckily, it was only a teeny cut and didn't even bleed. She definitely wasn't bothered by it. The only way I got her to sit still to get a picture was to put her in the tub.

I probably shouldn't be so amazed at her lashes. I mean, I know where she got them, but still.

On a fun note, Keira has figured out how to switch from the tub faucet to the shower head. Yay.

Ok, to be fair, I give her showers a lot so it was only a matter of time until she noticed how I was doing it. It really does make it a lot easier to get her totally washed and rinsed. She's gotten so used to it, that now she'll put herself right into the spray and turn round.
