I believe the term is Domestic Goddess

Keira  has finally gone back to her usual waking time of 7 am. Thanks to Daylight Savings, we had a few weeks of 5:30/6 am wakings. Mommy is not a morning person. At. All.

Since my only plan was to do laundry today, I am feeling super accomplished. I did 3 loads of laundry, washed & dried and got the diapers going so those will be done tonight as well. I managed to get my new dry erase board in my office. What do you think? Cute, huh?

And if you're wondering how well it erases...

I made Keira's lunches for today and tomorrow as well as got supper in the crock pot. Pineapple salsa chicken with beans & rice. Trust me, it's really good.

I also made Doug's lunch sandwiches. I use croissants and bake the meat, cheese & spices inside. He likes them and I don't have to worry about mayonnaise making his bread soggy. (If you're wondering, it's turkey, ham, sweet capicola & pepperjack cheese.)

I also made turtle cookies. I have very little faith in their surviving the night.

And where was Keira while I did all this? Playing happily in the tupperware. Again.

Christmas Photo Success!

A few days ago, I posted a preview of one of Keira's Christmas photos. Well, I've finished all my editing. (including playing with a new program that so far I'm loving). Enjoy.

30 Day Photo Challenge - last catch-up

This is the last day of the photo challenge. Apparently, it was beyond me to manage to copy and paste a photo each day from the Photo Challenge blog to here. Oh well. Here's the last two days:

Day 29 - Happiness

Daddy's home. Look at those eyes light up.

Day 30 - Holidays

The remnants of our Christmas photos.

Hope you've all enjoyed.
