After reading a friend's recent blog post here, I have decided to do a similar post and take the time to step back and look at all that I have been blessed with and am thankful for. On this rainy day before Thanksgiving, it would be easy to get worked up or upset over the fact that I've still got loads to do, food to cook, bills to pay, Christmas gifts to figure out and more. Instead, while Keira and I have our breakfast of toast and coffee/water, I'm taking the time to reflect on all I have.

I am thankful for my beautiful daughter who has been happy and healthy since day one. Though I may get frustrated at times because she gets into things or does something like spent the day pinching me, it means that she is learning and developing as she should. Her smile can brighten any day.

I am thankful for my wonderful husband who works long hours to make sure we are taken care of.I know I may wish he was home more often, it means he has a good job. He makes time to spend with us even though there are so many other things he could be getting done.

I am thankful for my family and my husband's family. They have given us love, help and support more than I could ever count.

I am thankful for our friends, old and new. While some are close enough to hold our hands, some are too far away but they all hold our hearts.

I am thankful for our home. Though I may not like paying the bills that come, it means we have food, heat, and a roof over our heads.

I am thankful that we are healthy.

I am thankful for the lives we have had so far. We have traveled, learned, had great experiences and met wonderful people. We've had tough times and come out on top. We've loved, laughed, cried and been blessed in more ways than I could ever imagined. For everything and more, I am thankful.
